Bible Study

Bible Study meets Wednesday mornings from 10:30 to 11:30 in the Guild Room. The sessions are informal and very casual. Coffee and treats are provided for participants.

The group typically consists of 6 to 12 participants. Members of other churches are invited. No advance preparation or homework is required; parishioners are encouraged simply to bring an inquisitive mind. The study aims to confirm the simple truths of God's love while addressing the "inquiring and discerning minds and hearts" of the group.

The primary topic of discussion is usually the Gospel lesson for the upcoming Sunday. The schedule usually follows the Episcopal Lectionary Calendar.

Participants are encouraged to bring different versions of the Bible to provide varied insights into the readings through different translations.

Daytime Foyers

Aso known as the Lunch-time Foyers group, this daytie group is for parishioners who prefer to meet during the day rather than for traditional evening Foyers Groups.

Currently the group meets at 1PM on the third Tuesday of the month, at a local restaurant. The accommodations are “Dutch treat.” The location is typically decided and announced before the scheduled dinner.

  • To enhance relationships with other men in the parish."

  • To sponsor some fundraising social activities and help to promote fellowship and financial support for the parish."

  • To support, to the greatest extent possible, all youth activities of the parish to include but not limited to - Sunday school, nursery program, children’s choir, VBS and others."

Mary and Martha Episcopal Sisters

The Mary and Martha Episcopal Sisters (also called the M & M’s) meet after the 10:30am church service on the fourth Sunday of each month for book study, lunch, and fellowship. Among our many activities are traveling to special events together and hosting a special fund-raising dinner each year.

We welcome all women who are a member of St. Paul’s to take part in our group and come enjoy the fellowship of your sisters in Christ.

Foyers Groups

Foyer Groups (often referred to simply as "Foyers") are home-based social supper clubs designed to foster deeper personal connections and bonds of friendship within the St. Paul’s community. The name is derived from a French word meaning "hearthside," reflecting the group's informal and intimate nature.

Groups typically consist of approximately eight people, which can be a mix of couples and individuals. Members rotate hosting simple, common meals at each other's homes over the course of a year. Recognizing that not everyone can or wants to host at home, St. Paul's offers an option for groups to meet monthly at a centrally located restaurant where everyone pays for their own meal.
