Get to Know the Candidates 01-29-2026
Before Monroe’s primary for council and mayoral candidates, St. Paul’s held a "Get to Know the Candidates" meeting. The meeting was open to the community. We live streamed the event so anyone could watch. Our senior warden, Melinda Plue, organized the event. The moderator, Dr. Joseph Ellis of Wingate University and vestry member, asked each candidate a total of five questions. Two mayoral candidates and five city council candidates were guests.
